I've always said, 'the hardest part of your fitness journey isn't the start...but a couple weeks down the track..when your progress slows down, your enthusiasm drops and your motivation begins to simmer away'....if you've fallen off track before, you know exactly what I mean. You're not alone. Here's five sure ways you can do straight after reading this so you don't give up again!!
1. SET A GOAL:
This is your 'why'...why are you doing this. Look it can be anything really, weight loss/strength oriented, event driven (birthday, wedding etc) or health and wellness related. Your goal is the overriding determinant as to why you are doing this.
2. EAT HEALTHY:
Planning, and taking control of your intake will no doubt get you that bod your after...a hell of lot fast than training alone. The faster you see results, the less likely you are to give up..correct?? So consistently aim at managing your intake, control portions or even follow a meal plan to keep your diet in-check.
3. CHANGE YOUR PERSPECTIVE:
Change your attitude from, I can't...it's too hard to... I can, and I will. You may be failing before you've even started if you've programmed your mind to think like this. Try to be more optimistic, and believe in yourself. Trust me, it goes a long way.
4. GET INTO A ROUTINE:
Create healthy, sustainable habits...that's another key. So whether you're an early bloomer, midday warrior, or afternoon solider, choose a time (and days) that works for you and your lifestyle. Learn to make exercise a priority...You should make that commitment to yourself and your health.
5. DO SOMETHING FUN AND ENJOYABLE:
Find something you enjoy. Rep after rep and hours on end on the treadmill, can be dull and boring. You don't want to drag yourself to each workout. Try something different, something that provokes you to smile and laugh...something where it doesn't even feel like your exercising.
So don't give up just yet. You can get through this with these five tips. I encourage you to also take me up on this BONUS OFFER....
